When you’re upgrading or switching to a new Windows PC, Windows Easy Transfer helps you transfer your files, email, pictures, and settings. Microsoft’s User State Migration Tool (USMT) is another tool which provides large organization a way to transfer data from one PC to another. There is one tool which however lets you transfer you installed programs from one Windows PC to another Windows PC.

PickMeApp is a portable tool that lets to capture and transfer installed programs and its settings from one Windows-based computer to another Windows computer. You can use it while upgrading from an earlier Windows version like Windows Vista or Windows XP to Windows 7, for repairing or backing up programs.
