When you’re buying new furniture, you’ll be given a selection of different colors before you select one and place it. You need to make sure you’re in Build & Buy mode, first. Once you are, hit the Color Swatches icon that’s found on the middle at the top of your screen. It looks like a bundle of rectangles, all stacked up in a fan kind of way. With this tool, you simply need to hover over a placed furniture and select a whole new color scheme.
