You can easily add the scripts from the fallout 2287 mod to any custom gas mask in xEdit, there even is a step by step tutorial on the mod page. A retexture of the “Gas Mask with Goggles” made too look more “raider-esque”. This mask can be crafted through the chemistry station, under Utility, using 5 Leather and 5 Cloth. It offers no more protection than a standard gas mask, it’s just for aesthetics. Expect new variants soon!
In the example images above I’m using Castell’s Eyewear retextures, which makes the lenses transparent. If you don’t have that mod installed the lenses appear very black, muggy and totally opaque. I’m also using Phnx’s Glowing Eyes mod in case anyones interested in an awesome mod.
